Pursuant to art. 13 of the European Regulation no. 679 of 2016 (the "Privacy Regulation"), as well as Recommendation no. 2 of 2001 adopted pursuant to art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, PT MATIC S.R.L. intends to inform all users and/or visitors of the website http://www.ptmatic.it (respectively the "Users" and the "Website"), regarding the use of personal data, log files and cookies collected through the Website.
1. Data Controller, Data Processors and Data Protection Officer
The data controller of personal data is PT MATIC S.R.L. (C.F. and P.IVA 07184370968), with registered office in Via Matteotti 146/148, 20010 BAREGGIO (MI), e-mail ptmatic@legalmail.it (hereinafter the "Data Controller").
An up-to-date list of designated Data Processors can be provided upon request by data subjects and/or Users.
The company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
2. Information automatically collected by the Site – Cookies
a) Information automatically collected
Like all websites, our Site also makes use of log files, in which information collected automatically during visits is stored. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site automatically acquire certain information during use, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
The information collected is as follows:
- - Internet Protocol (IP) address or domain name of the device used
- - browser type and parameters of the device used to connect to the Site;
- - the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested or the method used to submit the request to the server;
- - name of the internet service provider (ISP);
- - date and time of the visit;
- - web page of origin (referral) and exit of the User;
- - possibly the number of clicks;
- - the size of the file obtained in response;
- - the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.);
- - other parameters relating to the operating system and the computer environment of the device.
This information is processed automatically and collected exclusively in aggregate form for the purpose of verifying the proper functioning of the Site.
b) Cookies
Cookies are used on the Site. Cookies are text files recorded on a computer support, which make it possible to record certain parameters and data communicated to the computer system, through the browser used. These tools therefore enable an analysis of the habits in using the Site, for different purposes: carrying out computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations concerning users accessing the server, storing preferences, etc.
Cookies are divided into:
1. Technical cookies: these serve to carry out navigation or to provide a requested service. Without the use of such cookies, certain operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and/or less secure.
2. Profiling cookies: these are used to track navigation and create profiles on tastes, habits, choices, etc. In this way, advertising messages in line with the preferences already expressed during previous online browsing can be transmitted to possible devices.
No consent is required for the installation of technical cookies. Consent is required for the installation of profiling cookies: if you do not wish your device to receive and store profiling cookies, you can change the security settings of your browser. Indeed, through the settings of the browser used to surf you can decide whether to delete and/or prevent the installation of cookies on your device.
Please note, however, that by deactivating the use of profiling Cookies, you will not be able to take full advantage of certain functions of the Site.

3. Personal data that you provide using the Site: what purpose will it serve?
The personal data requested and provided to us are needed to allow you to access the site http://www.ptmatic.it (hereinafter the "Site") and use the following services (the "Site Services")
- consult the Catalogue/products/services;
- access the Reserved Area
- be Contacted
- use the DOWNLOAD service.
Data are processed for the following purposes
- to carry out the technical management of the Site; (ALL)
- to acquire through the compilation of a specific form the references of the users of the site to satisfy requests for informative/commercial contact (CONTACTS)
- disseminate technical commercial information (CATALOGUE PRODUCTS/SERVICES)
- inform customers of authorised parties to whom they can turn in case of interest (RESELLERS);
- Allow access to material exclusively dedicated to registered parties (RESTRICTED AREA);
- Allow the downloading of technical information on products or services (DOWNLOAD)
The processing of data for the above purposes will be carried out in compliance with the Privacy Code, the Privacy Regulations and all specific sector regulations, including the provisions of the "Guarantor's Rules for Loyalty Programmes" of 24 February 2005 and the "Guidelines on the Processing of Personal Data for Online Profiling" of 19 March 2015.
In compliance with the "Guidelines on promotional activities and the fight against spam" of 4 July 2013, we would like to point out that any consent given for the sending of commercial, promotional and marketing communications via automated tools will also extend to traditional contact methods.
The data provided will be processed mainly by IT tools under the authority of the Data Controller, by persons specifically instructed, authorised and trained to process them pursuant to Articles 28 and 29 of the Privacy Regulations. Please note that appropriate security measures are also observed pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access..
5. Compulsory or optional nature of the consent to provide data, the consequences of refusal and the legal basis of the processing
It is hereby specified that for the purposes referred to in points (i), (ii), (v) and, where applicable, the following, of Article 3 above, the provision of personal data is compulsory since without it it will not be possible to use the Services offered by the Site.
On the other hand, the provision of personal data is not compulsory but optional for the purposes referred to in points (iii) and (iv) of art. 3 above. Failure to provide data for the above-mentioned purposes will not allow us to provide the Newsletter, the Marketing Services, to carry out the Profiling Activities. To this end, you will be free to decide whether or not to give your consent for these purposes as well, without this preventing you from accessing the Services offered by the Site.
Please note that, in any event and at any time, you may request the Data Controller to delete your data by means of a simple communication to be sent, without any particular formalities, to the contact details set out in Section 1 above.
With reference to the purposes set forth in points (i), (ii), (v) and possibly the following, of Section 3 above, the legal basis of the processing is in fact the performance of the services provided through the Site and requested (pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, lett. b of the Regulations); on the other hand, with reference to the purposes set forth in points (iii) and (iv) of Section 3 above, the legal basis of the processing is the consent, if any, freely given (pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, lett. a of the Regulations).
6. To whom and in what context we may transmit the data
The data may be communicated, within the EU, in full compliance with the Privacy Code and the Privacy Regulation, to the following parties
- the financial administration and/or other public authorities, where required by law or at their request;
- the structures, subjects and external companies which the Data Controller uses to carry out activities connected with, instrumental to or consequent upon the performance of the Site Services - including the cloud computing storage service - the sending of the Newsletter and Profiling Activities
- to external consultants (e.g. for the management of tax compliance), if not designated in writing as Data Processors
- to credit institutions for purposes instrumental to the eventual purchase of goods/services if provided for in any part of the Site.
The information automatically collected by the Site, referred to in paragraph 2, as well as some anonymous data relating to the number and type of interactions on the activities combined with the loyalty purposes in the strict sense, may also be transferred to cloud servers of Third Parties also located outside the EU, as such processing is necessary for the performance of the Site Services requested. The legal basis of said processing is therefore Article 49, paragraph 1, letter b of the Privacy Regulation.
7. Rights
Please note that at any time you may exercise your rights under Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of the Privacy Regulation, by sending a written communication to the Controller's contact details referred to in Section 1 above and, to that effect, obtain
- confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data with indication of their origin, verify their accuracy or request their updating, rectification, integration
- access, rectification, deletion of data or restriction of processing;
- the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in breach of the law.
One may also object to the processing of personal data previously provided.
With reference to the Newsletter, we highlight the right to request the cessation of processing carried out through automated contact methods extended also to traditional ones. Furthermore, the possibility of exercising this right only in part, i.e. by requesting the interruption, for example, of the sending of promotional communications carried out through one or some of the contact tools for which consent has been given, remains unaffected.
8. Duration of Processing
Subject to legal obligations, personal data will be retained for a fixed period, based on criteria based on the nature of the services provided.
9. Security Measures
Through the Site, data are processed in compliance with the applicable law and using appropriate security measures in accordance with the legislation in force, also pursuant to Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation.
In this regard, we confirm, inter alia, the adoption of appropriate security measures aimed at preventing unauthorised access, theft, disclosure, modification or destruction of processed data.
10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Owner reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. In this case, users will be informed promptly when they use the Site again.
This Privacy Policy was issued in September 2018.
